Why Fresh Pasta?

Fresh Pasta has, for centuries, been a favorite staple of Italian cuisine and is but a simple process of combining readily available ingredients such as all-purpose flour, salt and eggs. However, many recipe variations can be done that will include specific flours or flour blends, spinach, carrots, etc., or, you can exclude wheat flour or eggs altogether. It can be the perfect enjoyable meal that is inclusive to many dietary restrictions such as a gluten free diet.

Currently there are three popular methods for

one of these is available to all.

1. Hand Mixing
2. Food Processor
3. Pasta Maker or Pasta Machine

Clearly the latter two are the quickest and simplest.  But the joy of making spaghetti, noodles, linguini, tortelinni, lasagna or ravioli from scratch and kneading and rolling on a board by hand, with your kids, by yourself or with another, is an event to be remembered for a lifetime!
